March 2010 Update

Well, hello everyone! It is good to be 'back'! This is just a quick update to let you know that I am alive and well (as well as we EDSers can be!). I appreciate all of the caring and sweet emails I have received from everyone over the last few months. Life brought me a lot of changes in late 2009/early 2010. Along with the usual pain and drama of life with a chronic illness, I went through a break-up, a cross-country move, a battle to get on disability and then a waiting period before I received a dime, moving back in with parents at 28, and a brother joining the Army. Needless to say, I was a bit preoccupied and had little time and motivation to keep writing. I will be responding to everyone's emails soon, and I will be posting regularly again. I have a lot to update you all on - including the good, the bad, and the ugly with regard to the natural approach to treating EDS/POTS. I look forward to your comments on all the new posts and also to sharing more so that we are able to learn and grow from each other. I hope you all are doing well and I hope your 2010 is off to a wonderful start! May this be a low-pain and beautiful year for all of us!

xoxo
much love,
dani

Yea! I'm glad you're still around! :)
I'm so sorry to hear about all you've been going through. EDS & POTS makes regular hardships so much harder. The last several months I started going through a divorce, and lost my little girl that I raised from ages 1-3. And, of course, my body decides it's time to be worse than ever. I totally understand you not writing! I hope things get better for you. Lots of love-
Jenn

@Jenn - Thank you so much for your sweet comment. I am glad to see that you are still around too! It is always so nice to see your comments - reminds me that there are others out there who are going through the same thing and I really am inspired at how we all persevere! I am sorry to hear about your divorce and your little girl. I am sure that is hard on top of the 'normal' hardships you endure. Please keep me posted and leave comments as you have time and are feeling up to it! I look forward to them! Much love and bendy hugs! xo
